POW Sewing Circle

Sewing Circle

The Prisoner of War Tailor Shop, called “The Sewing Circle”, is another innovation...organized and established to utilize more efficiently the prisoner of war tailoring ability . . . These prisoners . . . repair many articles of clothing which would be thrown away were it not for their organized activity in the shop. They repair their personal clothes and uniforms on their own time.
