Among the new company’s projects was a Park City branch line built for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad, extending over Soldier Summit. Note the Utah Construction name on the steam shovel and the Wattis name teamed with Bechtel on the railroad cars. Later, the Wattis brothers and the Bechtel family would join in organizing Six Companies to build the Hoover Dam.
