Finding Books

Using Catalogs: Use the WSU online catalog to find location and availability of books and other media in Stewart Library. Many of the books on costumes and costume history are located on the middle level of the library in the General Collection under the call numbers GT500. Books on theatre are found under PN 1600-3307

Do not restrict your research to costume books and theatre alone. Other broad classification areas that may have books with pictures of costume and dress include; "N"  art history, "D" history, "G" anthropology, ethnography, "T" photography, "TT" for fashion and textiles and "H" advertising in business. Videos are located in the Media Collection, lower level.

From Bookstores: Order books online from Amazon Books or Barnes and Noble. Also use Books in Print sources as needed.

Interlibrary Loan: If we do not own a particular book or article you need, we will borrow it for you from another library through Interlibrary Loan. To find books that may be available from other libraries you can also use WorldCat.
