Summary
Over a period of three weeks during Spring Semester 2003, interviews were
conducted with 210 students who were using the Stewart Library. The purpose
of the interview was to a) determine the availability of the resources
the student needed and, b) assess the student's level of satisfaction with
the library services they used. Each interview took approximately three
minutes. The students were asked the following questions:
1. Were you able to find the information you needed today? (book, journal,
e-resource, video, article, index, etc.)

2. Did you ask for assistance to help you find the information you needed?
Yes: 125 No: 85
4. If you asked for assistance, on a scale of 1 (not satisfied) to 5 (completely
satisfied), how satisfied were you with the assistance you received?

5. If the Library did not have the specific book, journal, video, index,
etc. for which you were looking, were you able to find alternative sources
that met your informational need?
