Who to call first

Every "crisis" or "situation" does not qualify as an emergency. Remain calm. Ask yourself the following:
   Have you or someone else suffered serious injury?
    If yes: call 9-911 or 6460

    Has the library collection or facility suffered serious damage?
    If yes: call 9-911 or 6460

    Do you fear for the immediate safety of yourself or others?
    If yes: call 9-911 or 6460

Otherwise, contact your immediate supervisor, explain the nature of the "crisis" or "situation," then proceed as advised. If your immediate supervisor cannot be reached, the following list of telephone numbers may provide assistance:
