• PollingReport.com    "An independent, nonpartisan resource on trends in American public opinion."  The web site for the bi-weekly newsletter Polling Report. This site provides polls from over 36 sources, including Gallup, Harris, Pew Research, and media organizations. • NES Guide to Public Opinion and Election Behavior  - National Election Surveys  "provides political observers, policy makers, journalists, teachers, students, and social scientists with immediate access to tables and graphs that display the ebb and flow of public opinion and electoral behavior and choice in American politics since 1948. The Guide presents responses to a small portion of the questions that have been asked in the 1948-2000 National Election Studies. "
  
  
• General Social Survey - GSS  "The GSS has been conducted since 1972 by the National Opinion Research Center. It measures attitudes toward social conditions, economic status, political events, work, and family life. In addition to questions asked each year, topical modules are included on a rotating basis that focus on current social issues such as gender equity, religious beliefs, and perception of work. The 1972-2002 file was released in June 2003."
  
  
• Institute for Research in Social Science University of North Carolina - " The Public Opinion Poll Question Database contains approximately 200,000 questions from surveys conducted since 1958, searchable by keyword or phrase. Questions are derived from the Louis Harris polls and state-level polling organizations from 22 states, with strong coverage of Southern states."
