Klamath Falls Band

band

In 1826, fur trapper Peter Skeen Ogden explored the lands of the Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin tribes in the southern Cascade Mountains. A century later, a brass band heralded the completion of a branch line running from Klamath Falls, Oregon, to Alturas, California, and built – coincidentally – by a company founded in a city named for Ogden.
