Symposium- "Utah Goes International"
|
|
After World War II ended, Utah Construction continued to contract overseas projects, often through its subsidiary companies. In 1952 the annual report listed projects in Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and British Columbia. By 1955 projects also were underway in Panama, Guam, Okinawa, Korea, Australia, Tasmania, and France. By 1971, when the company changed its name to Utah International, it had completed projects on six continents and in 16 nations.
