The Stewart Library is excited to welcome you back! While things are a little different due to COVID-19 and the need for social distancing, the library staff and faculty are dedicated to creating a safe environment while providing services to assist you in your academic success.
Fall Semester Library FAQs

Library Hours and Services
You can access the library building for the following:
- A reserved study space, including computer workstations.
- A scheduled test in the Testing Center.
- A regularly scheduled classs in one of the library classrooms.
- An appointment with a specific WSU faculty or staff member.
- A scheduled appointment in Special Collections or University Archives.

|Saturday||10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.|
Library materials can be requested for curbside, walk up or mail delivery. Laptop checkouts for fall term will begin Aug. 18. We have to restrict access to the book stacks and print course reserves because of sanitation guidelines.
All other library services, including Research Help, will be available online.
Why are reservations required?
Public health guidelines require libraries to reduce the occupancy in our spaces through physical distancing. To achieve this, we have taken measures to remove some seating and equipment. Making a reservation will help us keep students, faculty and staff safe because we can monitor building occupancy and support equitable access to a reduced amount of study space and computers.
Making a reservation will allow you to book a seat before you come to the library or you can reserve a seat when you arrive, depending on availability. More information about making a reservation can be found here.
Group Study Rooms
Due to the need for social distancing, the study rooms cannot be reserved for group study at this time.
Private rooms are available for Proctorio testing by request. Please contact Circulation desk in Stewart Library: (801) 626-6545 or firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a room to take a test.
The Testing Center

New Service! Contactless delivery of library materials and equipment
Because we understand that access to equipment and library materials is important, we are offering the following services:
- Library materials can be requested through our online form. Laptops checkout for fall begin Aug. 18.
- Materials can be picked-up through drive-up or walk-up appointments for social distancing.
- In some cases, we can also mail materials directly to you.
