The Media Viewing Rooms are equipped and purposed for the viewing and examination of Library media and Course Reserve media materials.

Media Viewing Rooms: Terms and Conditions

Media Viewing Rooms - Reservation and Use Policy

  • Media viewing rooms are available to Weber State University students, faculty, and staff for the purpose of viewing media materials.
  • Room reservations may be made up to seven days in advance here.
  • Studying is allowed in viewing rooms ONLY if rooms are not needed for viewing library media materials or Course Reserves material, regardless of reservation.
  • Reservations take priority over walk-ins.
  • Late arrivals to reserved rooms will forfeit their reservation after 15 min.
  • Rooms must be left clean. (e.g. Whiteboards are cleaned and trash is thrown away).
  • Unplugging, rewiring, or altering room equipment is expressly forbidden. If there is a problem with room equipment, please bring it to the attention of Library staff.
  • No food or drink allowed in media viewing rooms.
  • Failure to comply by these terms may result in the loss of viewing room privileges.

By submitting a request for a room reservation, you agree to and will comply to these terms.
