The Stewart Library has several rooms and locations for teaching, lecturing, private, quiet, and group study.
Private Study Rooms
Exclusive to WSU Student users. Students may reserve private group study rooms (4-12 seats) for up to several hours per day. Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance.
Reservable rooms available are designated for:
- Library group study.
- Media viewing.
- Student conference.
- Proctorio testing rooms.

Library Classroom Schedules
The Stewart Library operates four computer classrooms which are equipped with a teaching/lecture station, overhead projection/display, and computer stations for students.
Only university faculty or staff may make classroom reservations. Please visit the Classroom Booking page for additional information regarding reserving library classrooms for instruction.

Available for WSU faculty, staff, and student organization meetings, lectures, recitals, and receptions.

Open Spaces – Quiet Study Seating
The entire third floor of the Stewart library building is reserved for personal quiet study. Low/no noise is expected by all. All study carrels are intended for single occupancy. Power is available from most of the carrels. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
Open Spaces – Group Study Seating
The entirety of the Stewart Library’s first and second floors are designated for Group Study. Low volume conversations and collaborative activities are allowed on these floors. Many seating areas are available on these floors. Power is available in most of these seating areas. Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
Student DIY Studio
The DIY Recording Studio in the Stewart Library is a space that allows for simple video and audio recording with one or more on-screen participants and an optional screen to present behind the participant(s).
